The
Plantations Benoit Labbe Inc. are located in eastern township, in the
small municipality of Fontainebleau since 1972. Being interested
in forestry, Mr Benoit Labbe began modestly on a 100 acres ground
transforming deserted lots in a Christmas trees plantation.
Today the
plantation has 1500 acres; 60% in natural forest, 40% of Christmas trees.
Three hundred thousand fir trees are in culture, 75% balsam et 25%
Fraser firs.
Starting from
selected seeds cultivated in his nursery. He produces
Each year, 85% of
the trees are exported to the united states and 15% are sold in
Canada. He cultivates trees in the respect of the environnement
and is an enthusiastic defender of the natural tree.
